🇺🇸 Uzbek Language Holiday Celebration event

“On October 21, 2023, the Chicago Uzbek-American Association organized a holiday event titled “Ona tilim-jonu dilim” near Chicago. This celebration commemorated the 34th anniversary of the Uzbek language being granted the status of a state language. Compatriots from Chicago, neighboring areas, and adjacent states joined in the festivities. Students from the Uzbek school showcased their linguistic talents by reciting poems and singing songs in Uzbek. Through this, the children demonstrated their proficiency in both their ancestral language and English.”
